A short history

Research Center of Political Sciences and Thought (RCPST) was set up in 1994 to research in Islamic political thought. Using seminary and university scientific capabilities, it has thus far taken long affective steps towards reviving Islamic political sciences. Basing its programs on the Islamic Propagation Office of Qom Seminary (IPOQ)’s 20-year perspective document, RCPST plans to face intellectual challenges confronting its domain of study and prepare the ground to reproduce religio-political thought, to present political science on the basis of Islamic sources, to recognize and build identity in political philosophy, political jurisprudence and political sciences.
