Call For Papers
Politics from the Perspective of Transcendent Philosophy
22 January 2009
Academy of Islamic Sciences and Culture, Qom, Iran

The transcendent philosophy founded by Mulla Sadra is the single most important philosophy in contemporary Islamic philosophical thought. Many great scholars from around the world have recently turned their attention to the practical dimensions of this philosophy. However, many practical implications of transcendent philosophy, particularly the political ones, have received less attention.
The Research Center for Political Science and Thought at the Academy of Islamic Sciences and Culture is to hold a conference and invites philosophers and scholars from around the world to examine this new area of transcendent philosophy. The focus of the conference will be political and social philosophy. It is hoped that this will be a step forward in setting and promoting the model for a new political system.
Scholars and researchers are invited to attend the conference and to present their papers. Papers may be on any suitable topic including, but not limited, to the following.
